Time to ramble about ANOTHER thing that naughty dog could've done-

YAAAAAAAY-

Anyway

*This entire thing adds on to the whole "jak going dark jak without your input and you completely lose control of him" idea*

Imagine.

You just finished a story mission, any story mission, let's say.... the first pumping station mission.

AND.

You haven't used dark jak in a while despite the dark eco meter being full.

This cutscene finishes and you resume gameplay.

You run towards the entrance to the pumping station, and right before you re-enter haven city, another cutscene suddenly plays.

Jak suddenly tumbles to the ground, bolts of dark eco form, clearly now in a struggle as daxter hops off his shoulder.

Daxter is, of course, a bit freaked out and concerned as he asks jak if he's alright, the only response he get is jak quickly trying to strike daxter as he goes dark.

Daxter jumps back, dodging the attack as he lets out a small yelp.

Daxter watches as jak gets up, looking down at him, Daxter tries to reach out to him, trying to calm down as he slowly backs away, jak mirroring his movement as he approaches him.

Daxter, knowing now that words won't get to him in this state, turns around and runs away, towards the camera as he lets out a scream of fear, jak lets out a yell as he makes haste after daxter.

And then, the screen fades to black....

After a while, it then cuts to gameplay.

You now play as daxter, the game teaching you how he plays.

All while jak is chasing you.

Jak is fast, but thankfully, so is daxter.

It's a huge chase throughout the city, sometimes running through areas you normally wouldn't be able to get to as you desperately run away from jak.

Speaking of him.

He's destroying anyone in his way, whether it'd be a guard or a citizen.

If you hop across zoomers, jak would jump up to continue the chase, however, the sheer force from jak combined with bolts of dark eco destroy the zoomers he lands on instantly, so if you decide to hop across zoomers,

Don't stop moving.

I don't know exactly how it would end yet.

It could go on for a random amount of time until jak just... burns out all the dark eco.

Eh.

Just a fun thing I thought of.

I like to think that this event has a rare chance of happening if you finish a story mission while already having been saving dark eco for a while.
